About Us
Who We Are
Based in Hamilton, Ohio, Candid Moments Captured is a home-based
photojournalism studio owned and operated by Rachel Luebbe. A wife and mother of
two, Rachel has had a love affair with cameras and photography for as long as she
can remember. After working the "9 to 5" for nearly 10 years, Rachel decided to
follow her heart and start her own photography business. She gained professional
experience by working for other local photography studios and now she runs a successful
one of her own: Candid Moments Captured.
What We Do
Our specialty is capturing candid moments at events such as weddings, high school
sporting events, festivals, and parties. While the traditional posed shots still
serve a very important purpose, the photos people tend to treasure most are the
ones of their friends and family "the way they really are." That is to say, captured
in a candid moment.
How We Do It
We do everything digitally, which means you are getting the highest quality photographs
possible. Also, since we put all of your photos onto a CD, we are able to get your
photos to you very quickly—usually in about three weeks. The photos on this
high-resolution CD can then be printed using your own computer or taken to a developer
for transfer to high-quality paper. If you prefer, we offer photo
album packages and à la carte prints as well. At Candid Moments Captured,
we believe the pictures are yours to do with as you see fit. We won't charge you
extra or make you wait a year or more to "get the negatives."
What Else?
Part of what makes Candid Moments Captured unique is that we make the photos taken
at your event available to all of the guests. For a small fee (usually $30), guests
of the event can order a CD of the photos we link to on our website. This avoids
the hassle and expense of buying extra prints for everybody who asks for them. As
an added benefit, every CD ordered by your guests reduces your price by $10. It's
possible that we could photograph your event at no expense to you!
Note: Guest CDs must be ordered no later than 7 days after your event to
count toward your final price. Weddings only.
